Brief History

The first documented traces of multiband Delta Loop antennas made of rigid structures go back to Frank Cooper’s constructions (G2QT), in the la late 50s. After gaining extensive experience as a...>>

Why Delta Loop

A less instinctive approach to the best antenna selection requires considerations and evaluations that often escape our attention. Here are some reasons why it is worth preferring a Delta Loop...>>

Delta Loop vs Yagi

Ever since the Loop antennas came out, the controversy that has most characterized the debate over which antenna is superior has focused on the comparison of the two systems’ higher forward gain...>>

7 el. Delta Loop "The Claw"

The multiband Delta Loop antenna by SmarTech consists of 7 elements placed on a single boom: 2 elements for 20 m, 2 elements for 15 m and 3 elements for 10 m in reflector-radiator and reflector-radiator-director configuration.

The system is optimized to reach the maximum of forward gain and front/back ratio for each band.

Three different high dielectric strength (600 kV) gamma matches feed the radiating elements of each band. READ MORE >>
